Trains in Italy are little missiles of comfort.  Most of the time they run… on time.. unless of course one of the frequent strikes happen.  That was last year, not this time around, thank da Lawd.

Currently whistling through the Tuscan countryside, due to arrive in Verona in a few hours.  Just left Firenze, next stop Bologna and then we’re next.  We are in window seats facing each other and at our disposal are convenient trays, garbage receptacles, charging stations, free WiFI, washrooms and.. right next door, the bar car.   Featuring hot paninis, snacks, cappuccino, wine, beer.   Prices too inflated to believe, but reassuring in its presence.
