One Decade, exactly

Time folds over on itself and performs the most amazing aerobics.  Ten years - exactly - from the day I took this picture, I will once again be walking the canals and delighting in the sights of the Netherlands.  Life has changed in a myriad of ways over the past decade, as this blog attests, as it began as a way to keep my friends and family along for the ride as I dealt with breast cancer through 2012.   With that phase and a mountain of gratitude behind me, the blog morphed into a much happier travel venue, and I am thrilled to report a return to that today.  Covid be damned!   We trek on with a titch of  trepidation but fully armed with protective gear, reputable and up to date statistics, and buoyant spirits.  Less than a month to go and the lists are under construction.

Those who subscribe to this blog are going to lose their email notifications as of August 21.   I really don’t know why but perhaps this platform, also a decade old, is no longer supported by that widget.  I’m working on a solution but if I cannot figure it out I hope returning to the old Google link will still be working.  This publication today is a bit of a test so I’d appreciate your comments and feedback so I can work toward a solution in the next few weeks.  Is anybody out there?  Remember:  You must log into your Google account in order to comment.   Cheers!
