One week to go

 

La Dolce Vita

This lucky lady will set foot in Milano four weeks from today, and her bucket list will shrink by one - a great big one.   Here I will mangia bene, ridi spesso  (eat well, laugh often) as I sink into the rich history and vivid Italian culture with my brave big brother, Dave.   We will trek from Milano to Naples, along the way exploring the craggy Dolomites, glorious Lake District, Tuscan villages and medieval hamlets framed in olive and lemon trees.

I have no idea if Blogger still offers the courtesy of emailing those who are subscribed to this blog to let them know I’m stomping grapes or white-knuckling my way up church peaks so if anyone does get a notification, send me a high-five, okay?  Grazie!  The countdown is on.
